Burleson, Texas - A 20-Minute Trip from Interstate 20

If you are visiting Burleson soon, please make plans to have one of the following experiences! 

Burleson is roughly 30-40 minutes from Interstate-20 and it is great stop along your journey or on your weekend road trip.

Located in Johnson County and located just south of Dallas/Fort Worth, Burleson is the perfect stop on your road trip headed on I-20 West or I-20 East. 

This posts sets the foundation for the format for our new series focused cities and attractions within an hour Interstate 10, 20, 30, or 40 (the southern interstates)!

1) Old Town Burleson

Get prepared to experience unique restaurants and small town shopping in a beautiufl atmosphere. Old Town Burleson also featured Majoy Vera Calvin Plaza which hosts theater performances, musical shows, and more!

2) Burleson Heritage Foundation and Visitors Center 

If you like history, check out the Burleson Heritage Foundation and Visitors Center. 

3) Burleson Farmer’s Market

On Saturdays from March through October, you can ook forward to the Burleson Farmer’s Market. From vegetables and fruits to breads and special foods, you can expect to have an amazing time at the farmer’s market.

4)  Bike-Friendly City!

If you travel with a folding bike or a bike hitched on the back of vehicle, you van experience a bike friendly environment in Burleson. The city has designated bike lands across the city.

5) Main Stay Farms 

Now, this is fun for visitors of all ages! Main stay farms provides visitors with opportunities to learn about agriculture. Tractor hayrides, a three-story tree house, a fishing pond, and more!
