Cutting the Cable Cord and Saving Money for Your Family Weekend Activities with Mohu and Roku Devices on Amazon


Our family decided to cut our access to cable around four years ago! We LOVE travel and we had to find a way to afford it. So, we decided to save money for our family travel and activities by cutting the cable cord. After that cord cutting moment, we decided to purchase a Roku device from Amazon to view our favorite network television shows on ABC, NBC, PBS (and PBS Kids), etc.

Also, we purchased a television antenna as well. This has been a GAME changer for our family because we get to watch local TV channels. We are HUGE fans of the Mohu antenna and we've been able to watch around local TV channels in the DFW area (including PBS Kids). The Mohu antenna looks like this:

The Roku device is a simple device that you link to your television and your wireless internet. It takes around 3-5 minutes to set up and then you are good to go! It looks like this:
