Corpus Christi is a Great Quick Trip for Texas Families! #traveltexas #CorpusChristi

A few weeks ago, I discovered a VERY cheap airline fare on American Airlines from DFW Airport to Corpus Christi, TX. Each ticket (my self, my husband, and baby girl) averaged $130 per person. My little one has not had the chance to travel via air since last fall when we traveled to El Paso for a weekend away.

Baby girl enjoyed the trip and she needed her iPad the entire way. The only time that I had to take it away from her was during the take off and landing periods. I think that we can only have hand held devices during these times.

When we arrived in Corpus Christi, we had a great transition to the baggage claim area (we had to check our only suitcase at the gate). It was a very small plane.

We resided at the new Corpus Christi Springhill Suites hotel. I am definitely brand loyal because I like to know what to expect and I LOVE free breakfast! Before our travel to Corpus, we received an invitation via mail to the opening reception for the hotel with the members from the Chamber of Commerce.

It was a grand event with a brownie station, appetizers station, fruit station, margarita station, burger sliders, and much more! It was an amazing event that showcased their property to the local businesses and organizations. What a great PR event! Plus, my little one raved about las uvas!
